Denver: Over the weekend, a tragic series of stabbings unfolded near the 16th Street Mall. It left two people dead and two others injured. The police have arrested a suspect linked to these attacks.

One of the victims was a flight attendant on a layover. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s heartbreaking to think about how random this violence was.

Authorities reported that the first stabbing happened around 5:12 p.m. A man was slashed in the face but thankfully survived. Just minutes later, the suspect attacked a woman, who later turned out to be the flight attendant.

In another incident, a man was injured but is expected to recover. All the victims were alone when they were attacked, and police say these incidents seemed unprovoked.

After the third stabbing, police increased their presence in the area. Sadly, the fourth attack resulted in another fatality, but the victim hasn’t been identified yet.

Police Chief Ron Thomas expressed concern, stating there’s someone out there randomly attacking people. It’s a scary thought for the community.

The flight attendant, identified as Celinda Levno, was a beloved figure with 35 years of experience. Friends and colleagues are mourning her loss, describing her as an incredible and kind person.

It’s a tough time for everyone affected by this senseless tragedy. The community is coming together to support each other as they process what happened.
