Calgary: During a heated match at SAP Center, Flames defenseman Brayden Pachal made headlines with a huge hit on Sharks forward Carl Grundstrom. It was a real jaw-dropper!

As soon as the hit happened, the Sharks jumped in to help their teammate, who had a nasty cut on his cheek. Nico Sturm didn’t hold back and got a penalty for cross-checking Pachal before they both dropped the gloves.

They tussled along the boards, but it was more of a wrestling match than a fight, with neither landing any solid punches. Meanwhile, Calgary was on a power play but couldn’t capitalize on it. Still, they were ahead 1-0 thanks to Jonathan Huberdeau, who scored early in the game with some help from MacKenzie Weegar and Nazem Kadri.
