Aberdeen: The search for the missing twins, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, is still going strong after two weeks. Police have shared five important clues that could help solve the mystery of their disappearance.

The last sighting of the sisters was captured on CCTV at 2:12 AM on January 7, right on Market Street near Victoria Bridge. They were seen walking towards a footpath by the River Dee.

Authorities have been using drones, sniffer dogs, and helicopters in their search efforts. One theory suggests the twins may have entered the river, as there’s no sign they left the area.

Interestingly, it turns out the twins didn’t share a significant life update with their family before they vanished. They were planning to move out of their flat but hadn’t informed anyone about it.

They had already given notice to their landlord and were supposed to move out just days before they disappeared. The landlord was worried when he found many of their belongings still in the flat.

Another odd detail is that they only took one mobile phone with them that night, leaving the other behind. Their brother, Jozsef, mentioned that everything seemed normal during their last chat.

He was shocked to learn about their plans to end their tenancy, saying they didn’t mention anything to the family. It’s all very puzzling.

Jozsef also noted that the twins were financially stable and saving up to buy a home. Their triplet sister, Edit, said they seemed happy during their last conversation on New Year’s Eve.

There were also reports of screams heard near the river around the time the sisters went missing. While this raised some eyebrows, police don’t currently suspect foul play.

Residents are understandably concerned, with one saying it was unsettling to hear a woman screaming in the dark. However, it’s unclear if those sounds are connected to the twins.

Police are still trying to figure out why the sisters were in that unlit area, especially since it was icy and dangerous. They’re also working with authorities in Hungary to support the family back home.

The twins’ family has expressed their worry and is asking anyone with information to come forward. They just want Eliza and Henrietta to be found safe.

Police Superintendent David Howieson mentioned that they’re keeping an open mind and haven’t found any evidence of criminal activity. They’re focused on the river and surrounding areas in their search.

Eliza and Henrietta are described as white, slim, and having long brown hair. Authorities are urging anyone with information to reach out to them.
