Little Hulton: A man named Terence Horan, or Tez to his friends, has been identified as the victim in a murder investigation. He was found dead at a home on Hope Hey Lane last Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called after concerns were raised about his welfare. Sadly, Tez, who was 52, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bolton Coroners’ Court is now involved, and a post-mortem revealed he had injuries consistent with an assault.

In connection with the case, a woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. Police and forensic teams are still working at the scene as the investigation unfolds.

Chief Inspector Neil Higginson from GMP’s Major Incident Team shared that they’ve launched a murder investigation and have detectives working tirelessly to piece together what happened.

He reassured the public that there’s no wider threat but mentioned that people might see more police around as they continue their inquiries. They’re asking anyone with information, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the area in the last 24 hours to reach out.

Even the smallest detail could be vital, so if you know anything, don’t hesitate to contact the police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
