Firefighters Tackle Blaze in Ellon Electrical Manhole, Road Closed by Police
Firefighters responded to a manhole fire in Ellon, closing Bridge Street for hours. No injuries were reported.

Ellon: Emergency services quickly arrived at a fire in an electrical manhole. This happened on Bridge Street, causing road closures for several hours.
Firefighters got the call around 7:30 AM on Sunday, February 2. They rushed to the scene after reports of smoke and flames.
Police Scotland also showed up to help manage traffic while firefighters worked. They set up a cordon to keep everyone safe during the incident.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. After the fire was put out, the road was reopened.
A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were alerted at 7:36 AM. They sent two fire engines to handle the situation.
Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze affecting the manhole. They ensured the area was safe before leaving.
