SAN FRANCISCO: So, the Warriors got knocked out of the NBA Cup, right? It was a tough loss against the Rockets, 91-90, and honestly, it felt like a gut punch. But here’s the thing: it might actually be a blessing in disguise.

After starting the season strong, they hit a rough patch, dropping to 14-10. Coach Steve Kerr pointed out that this could be a good time for the team to reset. With just one game in the next week, they can focus on practice and work on their late-game strategies.

You know how it is in the NBA—sometimes you need a breather to regroup. The Warriors had a crazy schedule, playing five games in just over a week. They were running on fumes, and a few key players were banged up. Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins both missed games, and even Steph Curry had his share of issues.

Now, with some time off, they can really dig into practice. Kerr mentioned that while they’d rather be in Vegas, they can use this time to get healthy and sharpen their skills. It’s all about finding that silver lining, right?

The Warriors have been in a lot of close games this season, and they need to nail down their execution. They’ve had some tough moments, like going scoreless in the last three minutes of that game against the Rockets. That’s not how you want to finish a game, especially when you’re trying to prove yourself.

But hey, Kevon Looney said it best: more practice time means they can work on the little things that matter. They’ve got a couple of days to really focus on what they need to improve.

After that tough road trip, they’re back home to face the Mavericks. It’s a chance to bounce back and show what they’ve got. So, while the early exit stings, it might just be the reset they needed. Practice makes perfect, after all!
