Bedford: A tragic incident unfolded when a fifth teenager was charged with murder after a 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed near a bus station. The victim, Thomas Taylor, was attacked by a group of boys while walking along Greenhill Street.

This happened around 5:50 PM on January 8. Thomas was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but sadly passed away shortly after. He was a student at Bedford Academy, and his death has left the community in shock.

According to Bedfordshire Police, one of the suspects, a 17-year-old, has been remanded in custody after being charged with murder. A post-mortem examination revealed that stab wounds were the cause of death.

Before this latest charge, four other teenagers had already been charged with murder and appeared in court. Interestingly, two other teens who were arrested have been released on bail, and no further action will be taken against them.
