Bradford-on-Avon: So, there’s been quite a stir in this lovely UK town. A farmer stumbled upon a deer that looked like it had been through a horror movie. Seriously, it was torn apart, and folks are worried a big cat might be on the loose.
This all went down on Thursday morning when Jimmy Adams, the farmer, was checking his land. He found the poor deer carcass, and it was a sight to see. The skin was ripped open, and it looked like something had a feast on its insides.
Jimmy hadn’t seen the deer the night before, which makes him think a fierce predator might be responsible. The deer was missing an ear, and its tongue was hanging out. Not a pretty picture, right?
He told a local news outlet, “I’ve seen my fair share of dead animals, but this one was different.” He’s been chatting with big cat experts, and they’re convinced a big cat did this.
Local residents are also weighing in, thinking it could be a panther or something similar. One guy, Arne Wicks, said it looked just like how big cats eat their prey—very clean and efficient.
Another local, Mike Duberry, pointed out the signs of suffocation and how neatly the internal organs were eaten. It’s all pretty chilling. The discovery comes just as reports of large wild cats have popped up in the Scottish Highlands.
Two lynxes were spotted near Kingussie, and the police are on the case, urging people to keep their distance. It’s a wild situation, and everyone’s on high alert!
