Farsley Bar Granted Extended Hours Despite 44-Signature Petition

A local bar in Farsley has been allowed to extend its hours despite community concerns

Farsley: A bar called Number Thirty Three just got the green light to stay open later. They can now serve drinks until 1:30 AM on weekends. This decision came despite a petition signed by 44 residents from a nearby sheltered housing scheme.

People living close by were worried about noise and rowdy customers. They said it was common to hear loud music and see drunken folks causing a ruckus outside. But during a hearing, the bar’s representative assured everyone they were serious about keeping the peace.

They even dropped plans for live music after 11 PM to help ease concerns. The bar will set up a phone line and email for complaints, and there will be door supervisors to keep things in check after 10 PM.

The local police had initially objected but withdrew their concerns after reaching an agreement with the bar. So, it looks like Number Thirty Three will be able to keep the party going a bit longer, while also trying to be a good neighbor.
