London: On Wednesday, thousands of farmers rolled into Westminster, driving their tractors through the heart of the city. It was quite the sight! This was their second protest against Labour’s inheritance tax reforms.
Farmers came from all over the UK, fueled by frustration over the new ‘tractor tax’ introduced in last month’s Budget. This tax means farms could lose their inheritance tax relief on assets over £1 million, and that’s a big deal for many.
