As fantasy playoffs approach, Week 14 presents unique sleeper opportunities for managers facing tough bye weeks

Nashville: It’s that nail-biting time in fantasy football. The playoffs are just around the corner, and for many, Week 14 is a crucial play-in game. With six teams on bye, including the Ravens and Patriots, our rosters are looking a bit thin. You might have to make some tough calls this week, but remember, your opponents are in the same boat.
Last week was rough for running back sleepers, but some wide receivers really stepped up. Guys like Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling exceeded expectations, so let’s see what Week 14 has in store.
First up, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is facing the Jaguars. He’s had a wild season with eight touchdowns on just 20 catches, which is pretty unbelievable. But his role has grown since DeAndre Hopkins left, and he’s been getting a lot of targets lately. The Jaguars are a great matchup for him, making him a solid pick for deeper leagues.
Then there’s Will Levis, also up against the Jaguars. Their secondary has been struggling, and while Levis has made some mistakes, he’s been scoring well lately. He’s a decent option if you need a backup quarterback.
Don’t forget about Adam Thielen, who’s been on fire. He had an amazing game against Tampa Bay and is still a reliable option, even against a tough Eagles defense. If the game gets out of hand, he could see plenty of targets.
At tight end, Will Dissly could be a good choice against the Chiefs. He’s likely the second option for Justin Herbert, and the Chiefs have had issues with tight ends this season. If you’re in a pinch, he’s worth considering.
Noah Gray is another tight end to watch. He’s not a starter, but the Chiefs are using two tight ends more often, and he’s been productive lately. He could be a sneaky play if you need help at tight end.
For running backs, Sincere McCormick had a solid game last week and could see more touches against the Buccaneers. And if you’re feeling adventurous, Kenneth Gainwell might be worth a shot. The Eagles are heavy favorites, and he could get some garbage-time touches.
