New Orleans: This week was pretty wild in fantasy basketball! Nikola Jokić had an incredible run, scoring over 35 points in three out of four games. He even dropped a jaw-dropping 56 points against the Wizards. But the real kicker? He snagged his 139th career triple-double, passing Magic Johnson to sit third all-time. How cool is that?
Meanwhile, rookie Yves Missi is making waves for the Pelicans. He’s been starting a lot lately and had a standout week, including a season-high 23 points and 12 rebounds in a tough loss to the Hawks. With Zion Williamson out, Missi is stepping up big time and showing he can handle the pressure.
Other players also shined this week. Chris Paul is racking up assists like it’s nothing, moving up the all-time list. Trae Young is dishing out assists at a crazy rate, and De’Andre Hunter is back in form, scoring 20 points in four straight games. It’s a fun time to be following the league!
Injuries are still a concern, though. Kevin Durant is out again, and Franz Wagner from the Magic is sidelined with a torn oblique. The teams will need to adjust, and it’ll be interesting to see who steps up in their absence.
