Detroit: So, Ausar Thompson is back in the mix for fantasy basketball. With Jaden Ivey going down with a nasty leg injury, Thompson’s value just shot up. Ivey was taken off the court on a stretcher, and we’re all waiting to hear how serious it is.
Thompson didn’t have a stellar game, scoring just six points and turning the ball over five times. But he’s been stepping in for Ivey when he’s been out, so he’s definitely someone to keep an eye on. Plus, he’s got the potential to rack up some stats if he gets more minutes.
There are other players to consider too. Malcolm Brogdon had a decent outing off the bench, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is really stepping up for the Magic. He’s been scoring well lately, so he’s worth a look if you need a boost.
Quentin Grimes is also in the conversation, especially with some injuries on the Mavericks. He’s been getting solid minutes, and with Luka Doncic out, he might see even more action. And don’t forget about Caleb Martin from the 76ers; he’s been starting and putting up some good numbers.
Keon Ellis and Cam Whitmore are also making waves. Ellis is filling in for Keegan Murray, and Whitmore is stepping up for the Rockets. Both could be good adds if you’re looking for some depth.
Lastly, Jalen Wilson is someone to watch. He’s been getting minutes off the bench, and with some injuries on the Nets, he could be a sneaky pickup. Just keep an eye on the injury reports and make your moves accordingly!
