New York: This week in Fantasy Basketball is a bit of a rollercoaster. The NBA’s schedule shake-up means Week 7 stretches over two weeks. So, most teams won’t be active until Thursday. This pause gives fantasy managers a chance to reassess their rosters and make some strategic moves.

Karl-Anthony Towns missed Saturday’s game due to a knee issue, leaving the Knicks in a tough spot. Jericho Sims tried to step up but didn’t make much of an impact. Precious Achiuwa had a solid game off the bench, and if Towns can’t play Monday, he might be the best option to consider.

Over in Orlando, the Magic are feeling the pinch too. With Paolo Banchero already out, they lost Franz Wagner to a similar injury. He’s out for at least four weeks, which is a bummer. Tristan da Silva started in his place, but Goga Bitadze has been a better pick lately.

Atlanta’s Jalen Johnson also missed a game due to a shoulder injury. The Hawks had to adjust their lineup, and while Larry Nance Jr. did okay, he’s not a long-term solution. De’Andre Hunter could be a decent option if Johnson stays out.

Cleveland’s Evan Mobley sprained his ankle, which is a concern. Georges Niang stepped in and did well, but if Mobley can’t go against the Wizards, Caris LeVert might be worth a look.

The Clippers had a rough time too, with James Harden and Derrick Jones Jr. both sidelined. Kevin Porter Jr. filled in for Harden, but soft tissue injuries can be tricky, so we’ll see how that plays out.

Houston’s Fred VanVleet and Tari Eason were also out, leaving the Rockets shorthanded. Amen Thompson started and did well, but there’s not much on the waiver wire if they’re still missing key players.

The Lakers are without Austin Reaves and LeBron James, which is a big deal. They’ve got a bit of time to rest, but it’s tough for fantasy managers looking for replacements.

Denver’s Jamal Murray missed the weekend games, and while Russell Westbrook stepped up, he’s not the most reliable option. The Nuggets are hoping Murray can return soon.

Memphis had Ja Morant and Desmond Bane sitting out, but they managed to pull off a win. If they’re back for the next game, that’ll be a boost.

Brandon Ingram is out indefinitely for the Pelicans, which opens up opportunities for others like Trey Murphy.

Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins has been dealing with an ankle issue, and his absence has led to some lineup changes.

Lastly, the Suns lost Grayson Allen to an ankle sprain, which is unfortunate since he was doing well.

Injuries are part of the game, but they sure make things interesting for fantasy managers trying to navigate these challenges. Keep an eye on the updates as the week progresses!
