Greenwich: The theatre scene is buzzing with excitement! Greenwich Theatre has some amazing family shows lined up for 2025. They’re kicking things off on February 2 with the Pied Piper Theatre Company presenting their take on Aesop’s fable, “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.” It’s a fun story about two mice exploring each other’s homes, and it’s special because the company is celebrating 40 years of touring. Can you believe parents are now bringing their kids to see the same shows they loved as kids?

Then, on February 19 and 20, Mama G, a semi-finalist from “Britain’s Got Talent,” will be in town with “The Magic Bookmark.” This storytelling show is packed with original songs and has even made its way to Off-Broadway in New York. How cool is that?

Little Angel Theatre is also making a return on February 22 and 23 with “Persephone: A Tale of the Seasons.” This show is designed for the littlest ones, ages 6-18 months, and promises a sensory experience with bubbles and flowers. It’s a perfect first introduction to theatre for tiny tots!

And let’s not forget about the Greenwich Children’s Theatre Festival coming up at Easter. They’ll feature big names like “Fireman Sam” and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.” With such a strong start, 2025 is shaping up to be an incredible year for family theatre in Greenwich!
