Aberdeen: Henriette and Eliza Huszti, both 32, were last spotted on CCTV at Market Street near the Victoria Bridge over the River Dee around 2:12 AM on January 7. They crossed the bridge and headed right onto a footpath by the river, moving toward the Aberdeen Boat Club.

Extensive searches have been conducted by the police in the River Dee area, but sadly, the sisters are still missing. Their family recently shared a heartfelt statement through Police Scotland, asking anyone with information to come forward.

They expressed their deep concern, saying, “This has been a very worrying and upsetting time for our family. We just want Eliza and Henrietta to be found.” They also thanked everyone for their support and requested privacy during this tough time.

The search efforts have included police helicopters, dog units, and marine teams, with searches continuing along the riverbanks. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and conducting door-to-door inquiries, reaching out to local businesses for any leads.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce mentioned that the family is extremely worried and that the community in Aberdeen is also concerned. He urged anyone with information to reach out, emphasizing that even small details could be vital.

He added, “If you were in the area early last Tuesday morning, please think back. Did you see anyone who looked like them? Any information could be crucial.” The police are also gathering all available CCTV footage and are asking for any private footage from that time.

Eliza and Henrietta are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. If you have any information, please contact 101 and quote incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025.
