Isle of Mull: The family of Claire Halliday, a 35-year-old woman who has been missing for over a week, is really worried. They’re asking anyone who might know something to reach out. They just want to know she’s safe.
Claire was last spotted in Fionnphort on January 7. It’s not like her to go quiet for this long, and that’s got everyone concerned. The police have been searching high and low, with help from mountain rescue and the coastguard, but there’s still no sign of her.
In a heartfelt statement, her family expressed their fears and urged anyone with information to contact the police. They just want to hear that she’s okay. Claire is about 5ft 4in, has shoulder-length brown hair, and some distinctive tattoos.
When she disappeared, she was wearing a white jacket and white trousers. She also has access to a Ford Transit campervan. The police have been doing door-to-door inquiries and checking CCTV footage, hoping to find a clue.
Inspector Matthew Shaw mentioned that it’s been eight days since Claire was last seen, and they’re really worried about her. They’ve had some good responses from the community, but they need more help. Even the smallest piece of information could make a difference.
If you know anything, please call Police Scotland at 101 and mention incident number 1999 from January 9, 2025. Let’s hope Claire is found safe and sound soon.
