Perth: The family of Lucky Fazzalari is heartbroken after the 14-year-old was killed in a shocking knife attack in Thailand. They’re remembering him as their “white knight.”

Lucky was allegedly stabbed by another student just a short distance from his home. It all happened after a brief argument between the two boys. His family is now preparing for a cremation ceremony this Sunday.

Speaking to NewsWire, his cousin Bertrand Licour shared how devastated they all are. Lucky had lived with Bertrand and his family for a year after moving to Thailand from Perth.

They described him as someone who always stood up for the weaker kids at school. Bertrand recalled how he got to know Lucky through video calls and how they became close when Lucky lived with them.

Now, they’re getting ready to say goodbye after five days of ceremonies at a local temple. It’s a tough time for everyone, filled with mixed emotions.

“We just hope to wake up from this nightmare,” Bertrand said, reflecting on the support they’ve received from friends and family. Lucky was known as the “white knight” at school, always helping others.

Before moving to Thailand, Lucky attended Clarkson Community High School in Perth. His family had enrolled him in a good private school in their quiet town, believing in his potential.

Lucky was active in sports, excelling as a long-distance runner back in Perth. In Thailand, he enjoyed playing soccer and basketball, always staying active and social.

Tragically, the incident occurred at the Muntra Garden Home in Chonburi. CCTV footage captured the altercation, which ended with Lucky being stabbed in the back. He collapsed nearby and sadly didn’t survive.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle, leaving the community in shock.
