A summary of the report will be available soon, but the full details are confidential. This is due to laws protecting patient information.
The families believe releasing the full findings is important for public safety. They have reached out to NHS England, urging them to publish everything. So far, NHS England has refused their request.
Only Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation Trust will see the complete report. Other mental health trusts will only get a summary.
Calocane, 33, was sentenced after killing three people in June 2023. He attacked students Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar, along with caretaker Ian Coates.
He also tried to kill three others. Prosecutors accepted his not guilty pleas to murder. Medical evidence showed he had paranoid schizophrenia.
He was sentenced for manslaughter due to diminished responsibility and attempted murder. An NHS England spokesperson stated that these reports follow strict confidentiality and data protection laws.
