Maharashtra: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is pushing for better implementation of tribal welfare schemes. He’s concerned that many tribal communities aren’t getting the benefits they deserve.

Vivek Pandit, who leads the state committee on tribal welfare, pointed out that a lack of coordination is causing these issues. Fadnavis has instructed the Tribal Development Department to step up their game and ensure these programs reach the people who need them.

To help with this, the state government has rolled out a detailed 24-point action plan. This plan aims to make sure that tribal groups, like the Katkari, can fully benefit from these initiatives.

In other news, Fadnavis also mentioned that Sharad Pawar praised the RSS for its role in countering misleading narratives during the recent elections. He noted that the RSS played a crucial part in exposing false claims made by the opposition.

Fadnavis highlighted that Pawar is a smart leader who recognizes the strengths of others. He shared that when Eknath Shinde became Chief Minister, he wanted to focus on organizational work, but party leaders encouraged him to take on a governmental role instead.
