Built in 1901, this Grade II-listed chimney is part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. It was originally part of the first mechanised cotton factories, which were a big deal back in the day.
Now, it’s up for grabs on January 30. SDL Property Auctions is handling the sale, and they think it could make a quirky studio or even a cool advertising spot since it’s visible from miles away.
Andrew Parker, an auctioneer, mentioned that they’ve sold some unusual properties before, but this one really stands out. There’s already buzz from history buffs eager to snag a piece of this unique heritage.
