Ex-police Officer Accused of Inappropriate Conduct with 14-Year-Old
A former police officer faces serious allegations involving a minor in a parked car

West Mercia: So, there’s this pretty shocking story about a police officer, right? A student officer named PC Ahmad Shoaib is in hot water for allegedly getting involved with a 14-year-old boy.
This all went down on April 29, 2023, when he was off-duty and parked in a public spot. The hearing revealed that he was accused of engaging in sexual activity with the boy, which is a big no-no since the kid is under the age of consent.
During the misconduct hearing, it was determined that Shoaib breached the standards expected of police officers. West Mercia Police got wind of the situation after he was arrested by West Midlands Police, and they suspended him shortly after.
Interestingly, he was let go without any charges because the investigators didn’t find enough evidence to pin a criminal offense on him. Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Jones spoke out, saying it’s good the allegation came to light quickly, allowing them to act before he could interact with the public.
She emphasized that incidents like this really hurt the trust people have in the police. It’s a big deal because it undermines all the hard work the officers put in every day. Shoaib is now banned from working in any UK police service and will be added to the College of Policing’s Barred List.
