Eliza Huszti, Henrietta Huszti, Aberdeen, Scotland, Missing Persons
Aberdeen: The search for the missing twin sisters, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, is now in its second week. Friends and family are really worried about their safety.
The sisters, both 32, were last spotted on CCTV at Market Street near Victoria Bridge around 2:12 AM on January 7. They crossed the bridge and headed towards the River Dee.
It turns out they didn’t tell their family they were planning to move out of their rented flat. They had a call with their mom just days before they disappeared.
Search efforts have ramped up, with police using helicopters, dogs, and marine units to look for them. The sisters, originally from Hungary, are part of a set of triplets.
The family is devastated and has made a public appeal for any information that could help find the sisters. They just want them back safe.
Jozsef, their brother, mentioned that the sisters had messaged their landlady about ending their tenancy but didn’t share this with their family, which is puzzling.
Police are focusing their search around the River Dee since there’s no sign that the sisters left the area. They’re described as white, slim, with long brown hair.
The family released a heartfelt statement, expressing their worry and asking anyone with information to come forward. They appreciate the support but also want some privacy during this tough time.
Police are urging anyone who might have seen the sisters or has any information to reach out. They’re especially interested in any CCTV or dashcam footage from that early morning.
If you have any info, please contact the police at 101 and quote incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025. Every little bit helps.
