Ellesmere Port Applauds Drama Llamas for Their New Panto Performance
Drama Llamas wowed audiences with their first panto, Cinders, showcasing talent and teamwork from local adults with learning disabilities

Ellesmere Port: Drama Llamas performed their first panto, Cinders, on January 23. This group includes adults with learning disabilities. They use the Healthy Living Centre to create and showcase their productions.
Alistair Jeffs from Cheshire West and Chester Council praised the show. He said it was an incredible achievement, full of fun and joy. The audience loved it, and the props added a magical touch.
Councillor Sheila Little attended and enjoyed the performance. She mentioned she hadn’t laughed that much in a long time.
The Cinders production took eight months to prepare. Fourteen staff and users from the HLC were involved. It received fantastic reviews and feedback from attendees.
Some audience members said it was brilliant and one of the best pantos they had seen. They felt everyone should be proud of the performance.
Ben from Drama Llamas shared that they had a lot of fun during practice. They played games and enjoyed tea from the chippy on performance day.
Anne, who played a princess, thanked the staff for their help. She appreciated their support in learning lines and practicing.
