Aberdeen: A major search is on for two sisters who went missing. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last seen near a river in the city.

Their family reported them missing after they didn’t return home. The sisters are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair.

Police are using land, air, and water resources to find them. They’ve been searching the River Dee area, where the sisters were last spotted.

CCTV footage shows them walking in the Market Street area around 2:12 AM on January 7. They were seen crossing the Victoria Bridge and heading towards the river.

The police have a heavy presence in the area, with boats and divers searching the water. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce mentioned that they’re doing everything possible to locate the sisters.

Their brother Jozsef spoke to them shortly before they went missing and said they seemed fine. Their sister Edit also mentioned they appeared happy during a video call on New Year’s Eve.

This disappearance is unusual for the sisters, who typically don’t go out much. The police are asking local businesses to check their CCTV footage for any signs of Eliza and Henrietta.

If anyone has dashcam footage or information, they’re encouraged to reach out to the police. The search continues, and everyone is hopeful for their safe return.
