Elgin: Two good Samaritans are stepping up to help their neighbors. Daniel Craib and Paul Sinclair are offering to clear icy driveways and pavements for anyone in need.
These guys usually work as bricklayers for Springfield Properties, but with the cold weather, they can’t do their usual jobs. Instead of just hanging around, they decided to lend a hand.
Daniel mentioned they’d rather be out helping than sitting idle. They’re especially looking to assist elderly or disabled folks who might be stuck because of the weather.
They plan to head out soon with their snow shovels and grit. Daniel encourages others in the Moray area to join in and help make a difference.
The response from the community has been amazing! They’ve already received tons of likes, shares, and comments on Facebook, showing just how much people appreciate their efforts.
Daniel and Paul also shared that while they’re helping others, they’re also keeping themselves active. It’s a great way to combat feelings of isolation, especially during tough times.
They spent a good part of yesterday gritting primary roads and assisting those who were struggling. They believe many people hesitate to ask for help, and they want to change that mindset.
Diane Kemp, the HR manager at Springfield Group, saw their post and wanted to highlight their good work. She expressed pride in having such thoughtful employees who are eager to make a difference.
She also mentioned that Daniel and Paul will be nominated for recognition for their community spirit. It’s heartwarming to see them turn a challenging situation into an opportunity to help others.
If you want to reach out to Daniel or Paul, you can find them on Facebook. They’re ready to help and connect with anyone who needs it!
