Mumbai: So, here’s the scoop. The special NIA court just shot down Surendra Gadling’s request to take walks outside his barrack. They said it’s all about security concerns from the prison staff.

Gadling wanted to stroll around the jail grounds for a couple of hours each day, claiming he needed it for his health. He even mentioned he’s dealing with some health issues.

He argued that there’s plenty of space outside his barrack and that it’s his right to stay healthy. He even included some Google Maps images to back up his case.

But the prison superintendent wasn’t having it. They pointed out that there’s enough room inside the circle for exercise and fresh air. Plus, other inmates are using that space too. They also took issue with Gadling’s Google images, saying it’s a security risk.

After looking at everything, the court noted that Gadling is in a barrack where he can get natural light and air. They also emphasized that safety is a big deal, and they can’t overlook that.

As for the Google images, the court remarked that using those is a breach of confidentiality, something typically associated with terrorists and anti-national activities. So, it looks like Gadling will have to stick to his indoor routine for now.
