Elderly Woman Attacked and Robbed of Her Lottery Winnings in Orlando
An 83-year-old woman was violently robbed of her lottery winnings in Orlando, shocking the community and prompting a swift police response.

It all went down around 8 a.m. at Buddy’s Food and Lotto. The poor woman, 83 years old, was getting into her car when a man tried to snatch her cash right from her hands.
Thanks to surveillance footage, we can see how it all unfolded. The suspect, later identified as Tavarez Fleury, really went after her. But another guy from the store jumped in to help her out.
Unfortunately, the suspect overpowered her and took off with the cash. The sheriff’s office shared the video online to help catch him.
They quickly figured out who he was and launched a manhunt. Fleury was arrested the next day and now faces some serious charges, including robbery and battery against an elderly person.
A worker at the store, Ae Sun Lee, mentioned that Fleury isn’t a regular customer but has caused trouble in the past. She knows the victim well and described her as a sweet lady who’s friendly with everyone.
It’s just heartbreaking to see something like this happen to someone so nice. The community is rallying around her, hoping for a quick recovery.
