Rose Bay, Sydney, Australia, Tesla, Keying Incident
Sydney: An elderly man was caught on video seemingly vandalizing a Tesla. The footage has gone viral, and the victim’s family is getting tons of support online.
The incident happened in the fancy suburb of Rose Bay. The video shows the man approaching the parked Tesla Model Y outside Hotel Rose Bay and dragging a key along its side.
Deon Tsang, who posted the video, said it was her dad’s car. She mentioned that this man has been bothering her for a while, especially when she wears her Rabbitohs gear.
People online were quick to react, with many expressing their outrage. One commenter said, “This is atrocious. I hope they find him soon!”
Deon thanked everyone for their support and mentioned that they’ve given the police the man’s details. The police are now looking into the incident, which took place around 9:40 AM on Sunday.
This isn’t the first time a Tesla has been targeted in Australia. Earlier this year, an elderly couple faced charges for keying a Tesla in Brisbane. It seems like there’s been a string of these incidents lately.
It’s wild how some people react to things. Hopefully, this situation gets resolved soon, and the family can move on from this nasty experience.
