Los Angeles: Patsy Palmer, the EastEnders actress, is feeling incredibly lucky. She shared that her home in Malibu is “miraculously OK” despite the wildfires that have been raging nearby.

Currently in London, she revealed that flames have come alarmingly close to her property not once, but twice. Her husband and kids had to evacuate during the chaos, which has tragically claimed lives and forced many families to flee.

Patsy posted some heartfelt videos on social media, showing her belongings after cleaning out her garage. It was a tough reminder of how quickly things can change, especially after a fire destroyed her neighbors’ home.

She expressed how painful it is to think about losing everything, saying, “It’s traumatic for everyone to lose everything they own.” It really hits home when you realize how much we take for granted.

Coming from Bethnal Green, she noted how different it is to face such disasters. Thankfully, her family and pets are safe, and she’s grateful for that.

Recently, Malibu residents faced a fierce blaze known as the Franklin Fire, which burned over 4,000 acres. Many celebrities, including Dick Van Dyke and Cher, had to evacuate their homes.

Paris Hilton also stepped up, starting an emergency fund to help families affected by the wildfires. She kicked it off with a generous donation after witnessing her own home burn on live TV.

Hilton shared her thoughts on Instagram, emphasizing her concern for families who lost everything, including their homes and cherished memories.

Jennifer Garner has been actively volunteering, providing food relief for those affected. She’s been working with World Central Kitchen to help out in any way she can.

Many stars are using their platforms to raise awareness and support for those in need. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex even visited a meal distribution site to lend a hand.

Sharon Stone encouraged her fellow stars to donate, and Halle Berry went above and beyond by packing up her entire closet to help displaced families.

Even the Kardashian family got involved, with Kris Jenner organizing meals for firefighters. Kim Kardashian made donations to support first responders and those affected by the fires.

In response to the devastation, LiveNation announced a charity concert called FireAid, aimed at rebuilding communities and preventing future disasters.

Sadly, many celebrities have lost their homes, including Mel Gibson and Billy Crystal. The fires have also disrupted Hollywood’s awards season, leading to rescheduling of major events.

It’s a tough time for many, but the outpouring of support shows the strength of community in the face of disaster.
