London: A fan recently shared their thoughts online about the romance between Sharon and Keanu from EastEnders. They were rewatching some old episodes from 2018 and just couldn’t get over how awkward the relationship felt.
This 48-year-old woman and her 19-year-old love interest really stirred up some strong feelings. Other fans jumped in, agreeing that the whole thing was pretty cringy.
One fan on Reddit said they didn’t understand how it was seen as glamorous for Sharon to have such a serious affair with someone so much younger. They even mentioned how Keanu’s storyline ended with him getting stabbed, which they thought was a waste of a character.
Others chimed in, saying they felt the same way. One person noted that while some liked the couple, many found it hard to believe they were true love, especially after the second attempt to make it work.
