Philadelphia: The Eagles are shaking things up just before their game against the Cowboys. They made a bunch of roster moves to get ready for the big matchup.
First off, they activated Bryce Huff from IR. He had wrist surgery a while back and is finally back in action. To make room, they waived Charles Harris, who didn’t really make a big impact.
Britain Covey is out for a bit due to a neck injury, so he’s been placed on IR. The Eagles need to keep their roster tight, so they’re relying on Cooper DeJean for punt returns now.
They also signed QB Ian Book from the practice squad. With Jalen Hurts out due to a concussion, Book will be the third quarterback. He won’t play unless both starters get hurt, but it’s good to have him on the roster.
Lastly, they elevated Tyrion Davis-Price and Dallas Gant for the game. With some injuries, they’ll be ready to step in and help the team against the Cowboys.
