Philadelphia: So, the Eagles are dealing with some injury woes this week. Jalen Hurts is officially out after suffering a concussion during the game against the Commanders. That’s a big blow for the team, especially with the Cowboys game coming up.

Kenny Pickett, the backup quarterback, is also on the injury list. He’s got a ribs issue but was limited in practice. After the game, he seemed pretty chill about it, saying he wasn’t too worried. If Hurts can’t play, it looks like Pickett might get the nod, assuming he’s good to go.

The Eagles had a day off for Christmas, so they didn’t practice on Wednesday. The injury report is just an estimate right now. A bunch of key players are resting, and a couple of others, like Nakobe Dean and Will Shipley, are also not participating.

It’s a bit of a mess, but they’ll keep an eye on everyone’s status as the week goes on. Britan Covey has been out for a few games with a neck injury, and they’ve had rookie Cooper DeJean stepping in as the punt returner.

Bryce Huff, who had wrist surgery a while back, might be back in action soon too. His practice window opened last week, so fingers crossed he can return for the game. Let’s see how this all plays out!
