Pittsburgh: So, there was quite a scene during the Eagles and Steelers game. It all kicked off in the first quarter when Darius Slay and Quinyon Mitchell got into it with some Steelers players. They were throwing punches, but the refs somehow missed it.

Referee Alan Eck said they didn’t see any punches thrown, which is wild considering what went down. The Steelers ended up getting penalized, but the Eagles players were the ones who got fined later on.

The league hit Slay and Mitchell with some hefty fines—$14,069 each for unnecessary roughness. Meanwhile, the Steelers players involved got off with smaller fines. Darnell Washington and Calvin Austin were also fined for their roles in the scuffle.

Coach Mike Tomlin was not happy about the whole situation, especially since his team got the penalty. It’s always a bit of a mess when things get heated on the field, but it’s part of the game, right?

Other Eagles players also faced fines during the game. Safety Sydney Brown, who got a concussion, was fined for a tackle, and a couple of other guys got hit with fines too. It’s just one of those days in the NFL.
