Dumbarton: So, there was this pretty wild incident at a petrol station. A group of hooded teens stormed in and made off with some alcohol. Can you believe it? One of the staff members was really shaken up by the whole thing.
This happened on January 12, around 4:30 PM. The police are now on the hunt for any info about what went down. Apparently, the staff member was even threatened during the raid, which is just awful.
The teens involved looked to be between 15 and 18 years old. One guy was in a dark hoodie and black trousers, while a girl had long dark hair and was dressed in black. There were a couple more guys in similar dark outfits, all trying to hide their faces with hoods or snoods.
Detective Constable Jack Muir mentioned that they’re taking this seriously and want to reassure the community. He’s asking anyone who was around Glasgow Road to think back and see if they noticed anything odd.
Luckily, the staff member wasn’t hurt, but it’s clear this has left them pretty upset. If anyone has any info or dashcam footage, the police would love to hear from you. You can call Police Scotland at 101 or reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously.
