Duchess of Sussex ‘devastated’ after death of her rescue dog

Los Angeles: The Duchess of Sussex is feeling pretty crushed right now. She just lost her rescue dog, Guy, and it’s hitting her hard. She shared the news on Instagram, and you can really feel her pain.

In her post, she opened up about how she’s been crying a lot. You know, those tears that just keep coming, and you hope a shower will wash them away? Yeah, she’s been there. But she’s also okay with feeling that way.

She adopted Guy back in 2015 from a rescue in Canada. He was in a tough spot at a kill shelter in Kentucky, just days away from being put down. She swooped in and fell head over heels for him.

Guy was so tiny and fragile that she named him “Guy” because he was “the little guy.” He was there for all the big moments in her life, from her time on Suits to becoming a mom. He was her constant companion through everything.

Before moving to the UK, Guy had a serious accident that left him needing surgeries. Doctors thought he wouldn’t walk again, but a vet named Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick believed in him. Meghan and Harry would drive to see him during his recovery, showing just how much they cared.

She’s really thankful for everyone who helped Guy along the way, from the vets to her friends. It’s clear he was loved by many.

Meghan also hinted that Guy will be featured in her upcoming Netflix cooking show, “With Love, Meghan.” She hopes that by seeing him in the show, people will understand just how much he meant to her and maybe even fall in love with him too.
