Camden: So, guess what? Andre Drummond just dropped some exciting news after practice. He mentioned that Joel Embiid is back on the court and looking good. Can you believe it?
Drummond was chatting about how the team is getting comfortable with their roles, and he casually threw in that Embiid has been practicing. He said, “He looks ready to me.” Sounds promising, right?
He also joked about how they want to keep everyone safe from injuries, saying they should wrap the players in bubble wrap. It’s all about building that team chemistry, especially with everyone back in action.
Now, Embiid has been out with a sinus fracture, but Drummond seemed pretty confident. He said Embiid looked fine during practice and was moving around well. He even wore his mask, which is a good sign.
Of course, Drummond had to backtrack a bit, saying it’s really up to Embiid and the team doctors. But he couldn’t help but share his excitement about how Embiid participated in drills and even played 5-on-5.
Meanwhile, the Sixers are gearing up for their next game against the Hornets. Drummond started in their last win, and it looks like they’re getting their squad back together just in time.
Other players like Caleb Martin are also working their way back from injuries. Martin mentioned he’s feeling better but is still taking it day by day. It’s all about being smart and making sure they’re ready to go.
So, fingers crossed for Embiid’s return! It’s always great to see him back on the court, and the team could really use him.
