Driver Injured on Torbay Road After Crash Causes Major Traffic Delays

Torquay: A driver got hurt in a crash on Torbay Road, which caused a big mess on the road. The accident happened around 6:40 AM today.
The collision led to a mile and a half of traffic jams along the busy seafront road. Police had to close the road in both directions while they dealt with the situation near Livermead Sands beach.
The driver suffered a minor injury and is now at the hospital getting checked out. For about an hour, traffic was crawling, especially near the Livermead House Hotel and Abbey Park.
Old Mill Road also saw some backups between Walnut Road and Livermead Hill. Thankfully, by 8:55 AM, Torbay Road reopened, and the traffic finally cleared up.
