New York: The Giants had a rough time this season, losing 11 games in a row. But they finally turned things around during their home game against the Colts.
Drew Lock stepped up big time, throwing for 309 yards and four touchdowns. This led the Giants to a 45-33 victory, marking their first home win of the season. It also knocked the Colts out of playoff contention and pushed the Giants down in the draft pick standings, which some fans were hoping for.
After the game, Lock shared that he gets where the fans are coming from. He mentioned that while fans might want a top draft pick, the players are focused on winning games.
“It’s part of the game,” Lock said. “With the draft, it’s not like college where you choose your team. We’re out of the playoffs, but we’re still here to work hard and win. We’ve got two games left, and that’s our goal every week.”
With the results from Week 17, the Giants fell to the fourth overall pick. But Lock isn’t letting that distract him as they prepare to face the Eagles in Week 18.
