Doncaster: On Christmas Day, a police officer really stepped up. PC Conna Clarke from South Yorkshire Police got a call about a man in distress on North Bridge. When he arrived, he saw the man about to jump over the barrier.
Without a second thought, PC Clarke jumped out of his car and grabbed the man, stopping him from falling. He used his strength to pull the man to safety, and medical professionals were called in to help afterward.
Response Inspector Christopher Milnes praised PC Clarke, saying his quick actions saved the man’s life. He highlighted how important it is for officers to protect the public, and PC Clarke truly showed that spirit.
