Miami: After the Dolphins’ recent win against the 49ers, Tyreek Hill mentioned that he dropped a few passes. He thinks it’s because he hasn’t practiced enough with Tua Tagovailoa this season.
That makes sense since Hill has been on the injury report due to a wrist issue. But on Thursday, Wes Welker, the wide receivers coach, revealed that Hill is also dealing with an ankle injury that the team hadn’t mentioned before.
Welker said, “The hard part is he’s dealing with the wrist. He’s got an ankle. There’s always stuff through the year.” He emphasized the challenge of keeping players fresh while ensuring they get enough practice time.
It’s a tricky balance, and Welker noted that they’ll need to come up with a plan for the offseason. Keeping Hill healthy and in sync with Tua is going to be crucial as they look ahead to the 2025 season.
