Baltimore: So, Diontae Johnson is back with the Ravens after a bit of a wild ride this season. He was just picked up off waivers from the Texans, where he didn’t have the best luck.

He joined Houston not too long ago, but it seems things didn’t click. Johnson only managed to grab three catches for 24 yards in his short time there. The Texans’ coach, DeMeco Ryans, mentioned it just didn’t work out for them.

Now, you might wonder why the Ravens would want him back, especially since he can’t play this season. Well, he can’t officially join the team until after the Super Bowl. Plus, if he signs with another team next season, the Ravens could snag a draft pick in 2026. Smart move, right?

This season has been a bit of a rollercoaster for Johnson. He started with the Panthers, got traded to the Ravens, and then ended up with the Texans after an injury to another player. He played a handful of games with each team.

At 28, Johnson was brought in to help the Ravens’ receiving squad, but he faced some issues, including a one-game suspension for not wanting to play against the Eagles. After being waived, he didn’t get another chance with Baltimore.

In his last game with the Texans, he played a few snaps in a big win over the Chargers. Now, Houston is gearing up to face the Chiefs in the playoffs. It’s been a busy season for Johnson, that’s for sure!
