Mumbai: So, Dhananjay Munde, the Maharashtra Minister, recently met up with Chhagan Bhujbal, a senior leader from the NCP. This meeting comes at a time when Munde is facing some serious heat over the Beed Sarpanch murder case.
In a post on X, Munde mentioned that Bhujbal had previously held the Food and Civil Supplies portfolio, which he now oversees. He wanted to get some blessings and guidance from Bhujbal, who’s been around the block.
Things are a bit tense for Munde right now. The Opposition is calling for his resignation after one of his close aides got arrested in connection with the murder of a local sarpanch in Beed. It’s a tough spot to be in.
On the other hand, Bhujbal, who’s a key figure for the OBC community in the NCP, hasn’t been too happy lately. He’s been feeling sidelined since he didn’t get a role in the new Mahayuti government after the recent Assembly elections.
