Dewsbury: Recently, the police had a big operation in town. They raided ten homes and arrested eight people over two days. It was all about tackling Class A drugs.

They found a stash worth around £30,000, plus some cash. Four men are now facing serious charges, including possession and conspiracy to supply drugs. They appeared in court on Thursday.

One of the charged, Ahmed Hanif, is just 25 and lives on Park Parade. Another, Ismaeel Shafiq, is 23 and also from Park Parade. Then there’s Istaker Salim, 39, and Ahsan Aslam, 33, both from Dewsbury.

Detective Sergeant Seb Morgan mentioned that they’re committed to fighting drug-related crime in the area. They’re still digging deeper into this case and want anyone with info to reach out.
