Desperate Search Underway for Missing 14-Year-Old Edinburgh Boy
A 14-year-old boy from Edinburgh has gone missing after failing to return home

Edinburgh: A 14-year-old boy named Safdar Hanif has been reported missing after he didn’t come home on Saturday night. His family is really worried.
He was last seen around 8:20 PM, and his family just wants him back safe. Safdar is described as Asian, about five foot eight, with short black hair.
When he was last spotted, he was wearing a navy blue Nike jacket and a green and grey Nike tracksuit. His family and the police are doing everything they can to find him.
Sergeant Louise Gordon from the local police station said they’re asking anyone who might have seen Safdar to reach out. They’re really concerned since no one has been able to contact him.
They’ve been checking CCTV footage and working with local transport companies to track him down. It’s possible he’s with friends, but the lack of contact is worrying.
Even though he looks older, he’s just 14, and both his family and the police want him home safe. If anyone has any information, they should call 101 and mention incident number 2957.
