Oadby: A decision has been made about some offices. They are set to become 30 flats. The application was submitted by Mr. Kullar for Lyn House at 39, The Parade.

The Oadby and Wigston Borough Council approved the application. This approval is necessary before starting the project. The plans include 24 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom flats across three floors.

However, the flats can’t be occupied until parking and turning facilities are ready. There will be 30 parking spaces, one for each flat, as required.

Also, secure bike parking must be available before anyone moves in. The council noted that the development must be finished within three years of approval.

Previously, MKK Management UK Ltd wanted to convert the building into 40 bedsits. They submitted their plans in January 2020, but there’s no record of what happened to those plans.

The ground floor of the four-story office has several shops. These include Holland and Barrett, Specsavers, Pioneer Health and Fitness, Cafe Makaan, and Amrose.
