New York: So, here’s the scoop. Back in 2014, Davante Adams snagged his first touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers, which was also the 200th of Rodgers’ career. Fast forward to 2020, and he caught Rodgers’ 400th touchdown. Now, he’s got his eyes set on catching the big 500 this Sunday.

Rodgers is sitting at 499 touchdowns, just one shy of that milestone. Adams mentioned on Friday that he really wants to be the one to make that catch. “I’d love to,” he said. “I got 200, I got 400, so it would be dope to get 500 as well.”

These two have been a dynamic duo for a while now, first with the Packers and now back together on the Jets. Adams reflected on their special connection, saying it would be awesome to add another highlight to their history. “It’d be great,” he added. “And, obviously, it would be a big, big thing for him.”

They’ve already teamed up for 82 touchdown passes, which ties them with Dan Marino and Mark Clayton for the third-most in NFL history. Only Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison, along with Steve Young and Jerry Rice, have more. So, it’s a pretty big deal!
