Stockton: The council is all set to light up the town in 2025 with a vibrant memorial lighting scheme. They’ll be using colorful lights on landmarks like the Newport Bridge and the Riverside to celebrate important occasions and causes.
In the past, these lights have marked events like Holocaust Memorial Day and World Cancer Day. It’s a great way to show support and raise awareness.
Recently, the council’s cabinet approved a new schedule for the upcoming year. Councillor Bob Cook mentioned how popular this program is, especially on social media, where it gets a lot of attention.
