West Drayton: Eddie McGinty is celebrating eight years of freedom after a tough past. He’s turned his life around and started a waste removal business called The Waste Man. It’s been quite the journey for him.

At 44, Eddie has spent a lot of time in prison, but he’s now living a life he loves. He was in and out of various jails since he was just 15. But everything changed when he met his wife, Louise, while he was serving time. They connected through a smuggled phone, and that sparked a change in him.

After getting out in 2017, he worked for Louise in her flower shop. He quickly realized he wanted more and launched his own business. Now, he’s making over £250 a day, which is a big deal for him.

Eddie has seven kids, and he’s really focused on being a good role model for them. He’s shared his story to help others avoid the mistakes he made. He’s all about living a normal life now, without the fear of police busting in on him.

Looking back, he knows he could have easily ended up back in prison. But meeting Louise changed everything. He’s proud to say he’s been free for eight years and is loving every moment of it.

His past was filled with trouble, starting from a young age. He got into petty crime and eventually escalated to serious offenses. But now, he’s focused on his business and helping others. He even gets calls from old criminal contacts, but he’s not interested anymore.

Eddie’s story is inspiring, and he’s using his experience to make a difference. He’s sharing his journey on social media and speaking at schools and prisons to encourage others to change their paths.

He named his business The Waste Man as a catchy reminder of his past. It’s a way to show that he’s turned his life around and is now doing something positive. If you want to follow his journey, check him out on Instagram.
