London: Crystal Palace’s manager, Oliver Glasner, is keen on keeping Jeffrey Schlupp around this January. There’s been chatter about Schlupp possibly moving to Blackburn or QPR, but Glasner isn’t having it.

Schlupp, who’s 32, has been with the Eagles since 2017 and has played a whopping 245 games for them. His contract is up in the summer, so it’s no wonder teams are sniffing around.

He recently came off the bench in Palace’s FA Cup win over Stockport. Glasner mentioned how important it is to keep the squad intact, especially since they don’t have a ton of players to choose from.

With injuries and illness affecting the team, Glasner values Schlupp’s versatility. He can fill in various roles, which is a big plus. Glasner appreciates his experience and believes he can contribute in many ways.

While Schlupp’s contract situation is a bit tricky, Glasner is hopeful. He said no one has approached him about wanting to leave, which is a good sign. It seems like the team is sticking together for now.
